The WOS has teamed up with the Association of Field Ornithologists for a series of virtual events geared towards professional development in the field of ornithology. This series of virtual events is open exclusively to AFO and WOS members and is one of the benefits of society membership; recordings of past events can be accessed by clicking on event titles below. Past and upcoming topics include career paths in ornithology, best practices for field safety, how to get the most out of conferences, fostering diversity in ornithological communities, and navigating permits and IACUCS.
